Baume et Mercier continues to extend its Clifton collection with new models. We liked the new Clifton Baumatic Blue Dial that was introduced at the just finished Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (Geneva 14-17 January).
This wristwatch combines amazing exhibitions, a refined design and a competitive price point.
With a diameter of 40 mm, the case has an ideal size that makes the watch versatile and suitable for most occasions. An antiglare scratch-resistant domed sapphire gem secures the attractive blue-to-dark gradated sunburst dial featuring a white minute track and rhodium-plated faceted hands. Water resistance is 50 meters/165 feet.
Fueled by the 4Hz (28,800 vph) self-winding BM13 Caliber, the watch is available with or without COSC (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) certification. The COSC version is recognizable for the white crosshair appearing on the dial. This model offers an amazing force save of 5 days. The development and its oscillating weight personalized with “Côtes de Genève” and snailed styles are visible through the sapphire precious stone case back got with 4 screws.
The Baume et Mercier Clifton Baumatic Blue Dial has a price of Euro 2,400 with cowhide tie (ref. 10510) or Euro 2,550 with steel bracelet (ref. 10511). COSC models are Euro 2,800 with calfskin tie (ref. 10467) or Euro 2,950 with steel bracelet (ref. 10468). baume-et-mercier.com
