Presented by Bulgari in 2012, the sculptural Octo case has been utilized for an assortment of watch models.
The most recent ones are the Octo Mono-Rétrograde and the Octo Bi-Rétrograde. In these new watches, the complex case, characterized by 110 features, has a width of 38 mm and casings dark lacquered dials with retrograde presentations.
In the Octo Mono-Rétrograde rendition, the minutes are shown by a hand running over a 210-degree portion and coupled to a hopping hour gap situated at 6 o’clock.
The Octo Bi-Rétrograde embraces comparable plan codes yet adds a retrograde date sign in the lower part of the dial and moves the hopping hour opening at 12 o’clock.
The Octo Mono-Rétrograde is driven by the BVL 262 type, the Octo Bi-Rétrograde by the BVL 300. The two developments are in-house made and dependent on Bulgari’s restrictive self-winding BVL 191 type.
Beautified with Côtes de Genève, chamfering and snailed completing, they beats at 28,800 vph with a 42-hour power save.
The two models are water impervious to 100 meters and come in a decision of tempered steel or pink gold, fitted with a crocodile calfskin tie. The Bulgari Octo Mono-Retrograde has a cost of around Euro 14,900/US$ 15,800 in hardened steel or Euro 29,900/US$ 31,700 in pink gold.
