Quite possibly the most successful new timepieces presented in the last couple of years, the Octo Finissimo by Bulgari was presented in 2017 out of a sand-blasted titanium version that was followed, in 2018, by stainless steel and rose gold models .
In 2019, Bulgari is growing its contribution with the Octo Finissimo Automatic Ceramic, another variety in a material that highlights the disruptive design of this watch.
Its case maintains the same distance across of different models (40 mm) and it is just slightly thicker (5.50 mm vs 5.15 mm), a small contrast that does not adjust the general proportions.
Ceramic is also used for the insert set in the crown and the dial, that is completed by PVD-treated hour and moment hands and an offset small seconds subdial positioned somewhere in the range of 6 and 9 o’clock.
The transparent case back reveals the in-house created and produced self-winding Caliber BVL 138 and its hand-made Côtes de Genève and roundabout grained decorations. Beating at a recurrence of 21,600 vibrations each hour, this super slim development measuring just 2.23 mm has 60 hours of force reserve.
The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Automatic Ceramic Ref. 103077 is outfitted with a sophisticated arm band in ceramic composed of supple and explained links for absolute comfort on the wrist. The cost of this new model is Euro 15,500. bulgari.com
