Breitling celebrates its connects to the universe of motorcycling and surfing with another Limited Edition of its Premier B01 chronograph.
Introduced in two forms, in stainless steel and in red gold, the new Premier B01 Chronograph 42 Wheels and Waves Limited Edition takes its name from the world’s leading motorcycle, surfing, and skating festival that every year, since June 2012, pulls in guests from everywhere on the world to the town of Biarritz, France.
The stainless steel variant will be restricted to 500 pieces while just 100 watches in red gold will be delivered.
The 42 mm x 13.65 mm cases in the two metals feature an engraved plate with a Breitling SPECIAL engraving on the left side.
The new Wheels and Waves releases are portrayed by an anthracite dial with brilliant hour markers, hour and moment hands, and a red focal seconds hand. The dial likewise features a black tachymeter scale on a white internal bezel, with a red tachymeter engraving.
The two differentiating black subdials (a chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock and a little seconds subdial at 9 o’clock) are run of the mill of Breitling’s models controlled by the flagship Manufacture Caliber 01, a self-winding development certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
